Is Spelling Cat completely free?

Yes! Spelling Cat is completely open source and free. We occasionally offer premium voice packs or advanced community tools, but the core features will always be accessible for everyone.

Do I need to create an account to start practicing?

No! You can practice offline and entirely anonymously right out of the box using your local device storage. Making an account simply allows you to sync your vocabulary progress across multiple devices.

What age groups or grade levels does the curriculum support?

Our app dynamically supports all levels! We have structured tracks starting from Kindergarten phonics all the way up to advanced levels.

How does the 'Spaced Repetition' familiarity system work?

Words are categorized into 'Unfamiliar', 'Recognized', and 'Advanced' depending on your consecutive spelling accuracy. If you spell a word correctly 5 times in a row, it gets upgraded to Advanced naturally!

Can I use Spelling Cat in my classroom?

Absolutely! Spelling Cat is designed to be easily manageable for classroom scenarios. Teachers can project customized vocabulary lists, and students can compete to achieve 'Total Mastery' on specific modules.
